The second option includes three to five Alligator-5 drones dedicated to electronic warfare and reconnaissance, facilitating penetration of enemy defenses. Finally, the drone can be equipped with the Tryzub 90 laser weapon system, capable of neutralizing various devices at distances of up to 10 km. This innovation is in line with Ukraine’s strategy of using drones to counter Russian maritime threats.
Capabilities and first applications of the Tryzub 90 laser system
The Tryzub 90 laser system, integrated into the Alligator-9 drone, represents a major technological advance for Ukraine. Capable of destroying attack drones, guided bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles at a range of 3 km, it can also target helicopters and aircraft up to 5 km away. What’s more, it can dazzle aerial targets at 10 km.
