The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded a $112 million contract to Elbit Systems of America for the production of Night Vision Binocular Systems (NVGS). The contract, which runs until December 2026, is designed to enhance the Marines’ night-time operational capabilities. Manufactured in Roanoke, Virginia, the SBNVG integrates white phosphor image intensifier tubes with an enhanced thermal imager.
